Managing Director
I started New Dawn Resources back in 2007 , following an increasing number of requests from personal and business acquaintances for advice and support, with ongoing HR issues. It quickly became apparent that many small business owners felt alone and vulnerable when dealing with HR and H&S legislation and that many were turning to either expensive local solicitors for advise or online HR support services.
For the past 15 years I have been lucky enough to work in a range of vibrant, successful and challenging industries, including retail, health care, hospitality and more latterly heavy industry and engineering. Working within these industries has enabled me to gain a broad appreciation of the different challenges faced by each sector of the business spectrum.
Throughout my career in the corporate arena I have fought to maintain links between HR, Training and development and Health and Safety, although many organisations unfortunately increasingly seek to manage these three areas in isolation, of one another. Through New Dawn Resources we hope to demonstrate that the three areas are in fact deeply reliant on each other when looking to establish an effective, efficient and engaged workforce.
I am passionately committed to the training and development of individuals and teams as well as ensuring all team members within the business work effectively and tirelessly to achieve the common business’s goals. In today's economic environment this is more important than ever and we hope to support you in this aim by providing you with the support to allow you to develop without the fear or distraction of managing the complicated maze of legislative restrictions.

Commercial Director
My experience and journey to this point has been very different, having worked my way up from the factory floor to middle and senior management in the food manufacturing and agricultural industry. This culminated in becoming an MD at 30 for a medium sized vegetable processing facility that included it’s own farming and growing division of which I was instrumental in developing and controlling.
The company dealt with the major blue chip food manufacturers in the UK and in turn all the major supermarkets. The company employed between 60 –70 people all from very different backgrounds and boasted a committed and close-nit management team that provided the company with a strong and professional outlook and ethos.
I left the business last year wanting to pursue my own interests more actively, something that had taken a back seat whilst being so work centred. I also wanted to broaden my horizons and use the knowledge and experience I had gained to help and support other businesses.
I enjoy meeting people and am looking forward to experiencing other areas of the commercial world but whatever business anyone runs the pressures and problems are the same across the board and I believe that the mix of knowledge and experience within New Dawn Resources would be an asset to any business that we work with.
